Grateful and humbled to be involved in Green Across the World with others from Senegal, Thailand, Japan, Burma, Kenya, Ghana, and Puerto Rico. Yesterday I attended this global conference at UVM to learn about all the projects that our youth are developing. Peoples Academy students, the spanish teacher, and I are working on Sustainable Agriculture and Food Security in Puerto Rico where about 90% of their food is imported, mostly from the states, and is of low quality, while their tropical, arable land produces coffee and other cash crops for US. Looking forward to working side by side in Puerto Rico over April break.
